Many of us are in quarantine and need to adjust to the restrictive temporary new lifestyle. It could take three weeks or longer, but we can keep learning, discovering, exploring, and finding new passions also from home. What about making pizza with your homemade sourdough? Join a virtual tour at the Uffizi? Enjoy a live concert online?  I selected some of the many free online creative resources available and wish you can make the best of your quarantine.

Learn a new craft. Art Courses by professional creatives: handmade products, photography and music courses available on CreativeLife. Free classes are available ON AIR every day at a specific time.

Be inspired by writers: there are many resources for free reading. Starting from Many Books, Gutenberg, and Feedbooks. Download the fabulous app Lilly for ebooks, digital magazines, and audiobooks available in your city library. You may need a library card for this specific resource.

Enjoy a live concert: NPR is updating an incredible list of streaming live concerts.

Courses by university professors: Coursera offers art history classes. If you are interested to explore other subjects, I also suggest  EDX.

Museums Tours: Google’s Arts and Culture website has wonderful online tours museums Tokyo National Museum, Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and Foundation, and Uffizi are some of them. Explore also the list of artists and their best work Arts and Culture by Google.
